Summer Time and the Living Is Easy...

There are so many wonderful things about the Summer although I don't like the heat and humidity! I don't mind it if I'm by the pool but other than that - no thank you! I do love the flowers and how everything is alive with colors and smells - from fresh cut grass to the neighbor's BBQ!

I've lived in New Jersey my whole life (Proud to be a Jersey Girl!) and there's a reason we're called the Garden State. This time of year the array of fresh fruits and veggies are spectacular!!!

I have a small garden of my own and I remember my mom always had one when I was growing up. We use to go out and pick the tomatoes, rinse them, slice them up and put them on white bread with Mayo, salt and pepper - I'm drooling! DELISH!!!!!!
